Position Overview

As an Install/Service Technician with Wayne Door Tech & Security, you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of automatic doors, commercial pass doors, access control systems, camera surveillance systems, and storefronts. You’ll play a vital role in supporting our commitment to safety, security, and functionality, providing clients with advanced, reliable solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Installation & Service: Install, repair, and service automatic doors, commercial pass doors, access control systems, camera systems, and storefronts to meet client specifications.
• Technical Expertise: Troubleshoot and resolve electrical and mechanical issues in the field, adhering to safety protocols and industry standards.
• Customer Interaction: Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively, understanding client needs, and ensuring smooth operation of all installed systems.
• Documentation & Reporting: Maintain accurate records of all installations, services, and repairs, ensuring clients and the company have clear service histories.
• Safety Compliance: Follow all safety guidelines and maintain compliance with local and national regulations in every job.

Qualifications

• Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience in installing and servicing automatic doors, access control systems, camera systems, commercial pass doors, or storefronts.
• Technical Proficiency: Strong electrical, mechanical, and troubleshooting skills. Experience with access control and camera surveillance systems is a plus.
• Customer Service Skills: Ability to interact professionally with clients, providing a friendly and helpful experience during all stages of installation and service.
• Certifications: AAADM certification preferred but not required. We will provide support for the right candidate to achieve certification if needed.
• Physical Requirements: Ability to lift equipment, work on ladders, and perform tasks in various field conditions as needed.
