Job description
Wayne Door is looking for a welcoming and detail-oriented Receptionist to be the face of our new Sugarcreek headquarters and showroom. In this role, you’ll do more than just answer phones. You’ll be the connection point between our team and the customers, vendors, and visitors who walk through our doors or call us every day.
This is a full-time position that offers variety, stability, and the opportunity to grow within the company.
What You’ll Be Doing
Customer Interaction
Greet visitors and callers with professionalism and kindness
Direct questions to the right department or team member
Help customers get the service or answers they need
Office Support
Keep the front office clean and organized
Order and maintain office supplies
Sticker and organize product literature
Support other departments with mail, communication, and coordination
Accounting Tasks
Enter customer payments and validate work orders
Prevent duplicate accounts and enter accurate information
Process credit card payments and reconcile payments daily

Job requirements
Education and Experience
• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Prior experience in an office, customer service, or administrative support role preferred
• Experience with phone systems, scheduling tools, and basic accounting tasks is a plus
Skills and Attributes
• Professional and courteous communication skills in person and over the phone
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and comfortable learning new software
• Ability to multitask and stay organized in a fast-paced environment
• Reliable, punctual, and able to maintain confidentiality when needed
• Positive attitude with a team-oriented mindset and willingness to learn
